30/03/2021 a las 12:17
Blizzard has announced that the 9.1 PTR will go up in roughly two weeks, meaning the week of April 12th. Raid testing will likely start the week after, around April 19th.
Patch 9.1, Chains of Domination, was initially previewed at BlizzConline but details were light without information on systems or in-game footage. You can check out everything we learned about the patch in our roundup below:
Chains of Domination Overview
The burning question, of course, is when will Chains of Domination go live? With delays affecting the entire games industry due to the pandemic, Shadowlands patch content has been slow. Looking back at BFA's development:
Patch 8.3 PTR
started on October 7th, with the patch going live on January 14th
Patch 8.2 PTR
started on April 17th, with the patch going live on June 25th
Patch 8.1 PTR started on September 21st, with the patch going live on December 11th.
Large patches take a while to test and develop, so we could still be looking at a few months before 9.1 goes live.
With 9.0.5 behind us, we wanted to take a moment to update you on the 9.1 content for Shadowlands. In about 2 weeks, we will have Chains of Domination available for the community on the PTR. Also, raid testing details will be posted a week or so after the PTR is online. There will be a wide variety of content to check out for Chains of Domination, so as usual, your testing will play a key role in iterating on this update. We can’t wait to get this in front of you and look forward to your feedback soon.
