Wowhead's Guide to Patch 5.4.8

live on TuesdayThe patch is now live, and we have discovered a couple of issues:

Bigger Bag becoming account-wide is causing progress to be reset. Reward Systems Designer Russ Petersen tweeted that it's being looked into.
The two achievements for the Dread Raven and Dread Hatchling are not appearing for some players, but are for others.

Patch 5.3: Mists of Pandaria Currency Guide

There are several new ways to acquire Puntos de valor, including 0 Puntos de valor from Campo de batalla: Los Baldíos and 0 Puntos de valor from Heroic Scenarios.

A catch-up mechanism has been added to the cap, and unlike past seasons, players can purchase Elite items if they have earned 0 this season, as opposed to hitting 2200 rating.

Players who have acquired 0 can also purchase regular Tyrannical gear for Honor Points instead of Conquest Points.

Players can spend their Talismán ancestral de buena fortuna on Cajón de suministros vacío in 5.3, which helps them out in the Troves of the Thunder King.

In Patch 5.3, item upgrades are returning at a reduced cost (0 Puntos de valor instead of 0 Puntos de valor) and several Shado-Pan Assault rewards are being moved down from Revered to a lower reputation requirement.

Puntos de justicia are sidelined for now, and making players rely so much on Puntos de valor at the start of the expansion was an oversight.

In response to players asking about in-game surveys to provide feedback, Bashiok explained that Blizzard already amasses an exhaustive amount of player data, from talents players pick to what dailies are the most popular. Of course, forum feedback is also useful as it provides insights into player choices.

There were also a few interesting content tidbits:
Black Temple was mean to be in the game at Burning Crusade's launch.

While most of Patch 5.3 was planned out a while ago, Battlefield: Barrens was only planned in 5.2.

Players gave lots of feedback on missing Heroic Dungeons at one point, so Heroic Scenarios are a nod to those players.

Item Upgrades in Patch 5.3, Oondasta's Health Reduced by 50%

They'll be returning in Patch 5.3 at a reduced cost for PvE gear.

0 Puntos de valor is needed to upgrade an item by 4 levels, instead of 0 Puntos de valor as in Patch 5.1.

5.2 Justice items now require 750 Justice to upgrade per 8 item levels, for a total of 750 Justice for 8 item levels per item.

Season 12 PvP items can be upgraded, but no other PvP items for the foreseeable future. Many PvPers did not like the concept of upgrades, and there were some imbalance issues going from ilvl 483 Honor gear that was upgraded to ilvl 491 in 5.1, to ilvl 476 un-upgradeable Honor gear in 5.2.
